Before I begin, let me just say that I can’t stop hollering “Hootin’ zoots!”… and it’s really become problematic. That said, what I really love about your podcast is the dynamic between you fine, upstanding gentlemen. You’re all charming, intelligent, and very witty dudes… I could listen to you guys read the telephone book w/ your soothing ASMR voices and never grow tired. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSyynT9IidU

While I still await flying pigs, a flying phallus will just have to tide me over.

You guys brought up Walden Wang’s pointy ears, as well as those of Celsius. I always found it weird how Prince Namor and Black Adam looked so alike, pointy ears and all. The pointy-ears trope has been around since time immemorial, signifying one is otherworldly like Star Trek’s Mr. Spock (who Raven “pointed” out is in the new Star Wars movie, over on Twitter)… or sadly, evil, like Marvel’s Green Goblin. Northstar is as gay as Walden Wang, and he, too, has pointy ears — although I think Marvel decided to give him regular ears now, perhaps trying to be more woke and stray away from negative imagery. (The Spider is a British pointy-eared comic-book character who began as a supervillain and ended up as a superhero.)

The DPS this issue was insanely good. The cover blurbs on the bottom of upcoming issues have me thinking that there might be a rogues’ gallery forming, w/ Dart spearheading it all — cue decapitations — but Scourge might take exception .

That back-up blew me away. Would love to see more of his work. I love kinetic layouts like that, especially when an artist plays around w/ the horizon line. Kochanski’s art was like a cross between Fabio Moon and Tomm Coker on “Vanguard.”

Can’t wait for SD #250. Hopefully, it’s an all-Glum issue. Glum vs. Amy. JK.

Hey boys, just chiming in on the lastest F-in cast. Hearing your tangent Taco pizza talk was hilarious. Reminded me of the Canadian milk bag discussion from a few months back. “Can I have a satchel of milk?” Lol. As a Canadian I can tell you the real good stuff at Taco Bell in the US is their breakfast menu. Steak egg and cheese tacos are delicious. Sadly Canadian Taco bells do not have breakfast. Keep up the good work!

Sotiris– you know how to make a person blush! lol. I definitely see the Moon/Coker stuff in Kochanski’s art. So awesome to look at.

I’m down for Glum and Amy fisticuffs!

Tony – You may not have Taco Bell breakfast, but you have plenty of Tim Horton’s available for breakfast which is more that enough reason for me to migrate up North. Putting some serious thought into relocating to Montreal specifically so I can have Tim Horton’s for breakfast and the exquisite St-Hubert’s chicken for lunch on a daily basis!
