Hey Guys. I’m trying to subscribe using the RSS feed on Plex but I keep getting a playback error. Any idea why that might be happening?
No big deal if you don’t know why. I usually listen on iTunes but thought it would be fun to set it up on Plex.
Hey, guys… Another winner. Glad you liked my brief letter, BTW. In honor of Episode 95, I decided to listen to this podcast in its entirety while wearing a very snug N95 COVID mask. (Natalie Portman was great in “V for Vendetta,” but if you wanna see some really crazy duplicate action, be sure to check her out in the ending of “Annihilation.”) SPOILERS: if you like naked aliens like Dragon in a burning field… you’ll LOVE this movie’s ending. Crazy AF.
Hey guys, you should throw a listener finteresting convo for the variant cover rankings/comments. The Liefeld cover: looks like Youngblood Shaft in greenface, lol. Terrible. Raven. Why the hate for the Young cover? Im not a Scott Young fan but I like it. It’s a parody cover w Dragon as Homer Simpson, lol. The Ottley cover is uninteresting (big hand),and I.agree w Jim that the Simonson is fantastic. Cho one is great but I can’t tell if it’s original Dragon or Malcolm. Raven. No backup? Wtf? I wanted more Angel titties! Lol.
Ho snap! I just saw the Adam Warren Savage Dragon and Alex pin-up in SD 250! Man how sick would an Adam Warren variant cover have been! Big fan of Empowered and out of curiosity, do any of the Fincast crew read it?
I think Jim and Raven are big fans of empowered. I like what I’ve seen but don’t seek it out. I know Warren pitched in with a story in Erik’s Giant Size Kung Fu Bible Stories comic.
Man, I’m thinking issue #300 should have at least 10 variants. Adam Warren, Art Adams, Howard Porter, Mark Bagley, Bryan Hitch would be my top choices. Heck, even John McCrea.
Yup I picked up the kung-fu Bible stories, great book. Empowered is a rare breed of comic, very singular in vision, like Savage D. I give it the highest recommendation.
